How do you fight mind control - Part 3 Agreements

You need two things to fight mind control: 1. Awareness that it might be happening 2. A source of truth

When I agree with something then it means that I believe it to be right. And therefore anything built on that is justified.

Lets take an example: You have an argument with your business partner/boss/colleague/spouse and both leave the scene angry. The voices in your head are saying "they always do this", "they never do that", "you don't need this". Oh how tempting it is to agree with it! But if you do then you can justify feeling angry and writing them off. You don't need to consider their perspective because they are just wrong.

If you agree strongly enough then the feeling turns into action. That's mind control.

Here's some other classic attacks:

  • I'm just not clever enough

  • I will never dance like that

  • I always fail

  • No one can love me

  • I've messed up too badly

Don't agree with those attacks. They are not truth. The devil is real and he is trying to control your mind and he wants to destroy you.

There is another voice in there though, and that is God. He's the only one you should agree with because He wants more good for you than you could ever dream possible.

If you know about a book called The Bible then check out John Chapter 10 verse 10:

"A thief is only there to steal and kill and destroy. I came so they can have real and eternal life, more and better life than they ever dreamed of."
